The June 25, 2007 launch of CDTI Kasongo was widely publicized by radio, billboards, flyers etc.   The launch ceremony was held in front of the Hotel Palace in Kasongo.

The launch ceremony was broadcast by radio throughout the region.
During the 7 to 10 days following the launch ceremony,
each of the 2,000 trained community distributors (CDs)
used either the door-to-door or focal point method to distribute
the drug to the eligible population in their villages.
